"Home, I’m Darling!" is a thought-provoking play by Laura Wade that delves into the complexities of modern relationships and the allure of nostalgia.

Premiering in 2018, the play follows the story of Judy, a woman who gives up her career to become the perfect 1950s housewife, much to the bewilderment of those around her.

As Judy immerses herself in a vintage lifestyle, complete with period-appropriate clothing and domestic routines, the play explores themes of gender roles, identity, and the often-romanticised view of the past.

With sharp wit and a keen eye for societal critique, Wade's work invites audiences to reflect on the balance between personal happiness and societal expectations, making "Home, I’m Darling!" both an entertaining and insightful commentary on contemporary life.
