Home, I’m Darling received its World Premiere at Theatr Clwyd in 2018, before running at the National Theatre and transferred to the Duke of York’s theatre in the West End, winning the 2019 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy. Home, I'm Darling is a dark comedy about sex, cake and the quest to be the perfect 50's couple. But it’s the 20th Century and living the ideal is not as easy as it appears.

SETTING

A meticulously renovated 50’s era house

Special Requirements

  • Marcus and Judy love to dance. We will require them to spend some dedicated time with a teacher. Check this example

  • The rehearsal schedule includes a weekend intensive compulsory for all cast and crew. March 1 & 2

  • Cast will be expected to learn their lines promptly and there will be a strict schedule.

  • There will be one Sunday rehearsal dedicated to promotional photos. Venue yet to be determined. Attendance will be required according to a schedule

  • Cast and crew are expected to help distribute promotional materials

  • There is a lot of eating during the production
